Baked by Jul Kids Event Policies
Registration & Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking to reserve your child’s spot. Event sizes are limited and spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. A completed registration form is required for each participating child.
Cancellations & Refunds
All ticket sales are final. If your child can no longer attend, registration may be transferred to another child or applied to a future eligible event with at least 7 days’ notice. No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations within 7 days of the event or for no-shows.
Age Requirements
Children must meet the age requirements listed for the specific event. For events designated as drop-off events, parents or guardians are not required to remain on-site during the event.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Children may be dropped off no earlier than 15 minutes before the scheduled event start time and must be picked up promptly at the conclusion of the event.
Children will only be released to a parent/guardian or an individual authorized by the parent/guardian. Parents/guardians must remain reachable using the emergency phone number provided throughout the event.
Supervision & Participation
By registering a child for a drop-off event, the parent or legal guardian gives permission for the child to remain under the supervision of Baked by Jul staff and participate in the activities offered during the event, which may include cookie decorating, baking-related activities, crafts, games, and other age-appropriate activities.
Children are expected to follow staff instructions and behave in a manner that allows for a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. If a child cannot safely participate or requires care beyond what Baked by Jul staff can reasonably provide, the parent/guardian may be contacted and asked to pick up the child early.
Allergies, Medical Information & Dietary Restrictions
Parents/guardians are responsible for providing accurate information regarding their child’s food allergies, dietary restrictions, medical concerns, or other information that may affect their participation before the event begins.
Baked by Jul is a working bakery and is not an allergen-free facility. Although ingredients and materials are handled with care, cross-contact with allergens may occur. Parents/guardians are responsible for determining whether participation is appropriate for their child based on their individual allergy or dietary needs.
Emergency Contact Information
A parent/guardian and emergency contact must be provided for each child. By registering, the parent/guardian authorizes Baked by Jul staff to contact the individuals listed on the registration form if an issue arises during the event.
Liability & Assumption of Risk
Participation in Baked by Jul kids events may involve ordinary risks associated with hands-on decorating, baking-related activities, crafts, games, food products, and use of the bakery space.
By registering a child, the parent or legal guardian acknowledges these risks and gives permission for the child to participate. To the extent permitted by law, the parent/guardian agrees that Baked by Jul, its owner, employees, and event staff will not be held responsible for injuries, allergic reactions, property damage, or other loss resulting from ordinary participation in event activities, except where liability cannot legally be waived.
Personal Belongings
Baked by Jul is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. Please leave unnecessary valuables at home.
Photography & Media
Photos and videos may be taken during Baked by Jul events for social media, website, and promotional purposes. Parents/guardians will be given the opportunity to indicate whether they give permission for their child to be photographed or recorded. Children without photo permission will not intentionally be included in promotional photos or videos.
Food & Meals
Unless specifically stated in the event description, meals are not provided during kids events. Please have your child eat before arriving when appropriate. Any snacks or treats provided as part of an event will be noted when applicable.
Event Changes & Cancellations
Baked by Jul reserves the right to modify event activities when necessary and to cancel or reschedule an event due to unforeseen circumstances. If Baked by Jul cancels an event, registered families will be offered a refund or credit toward a future event.
Agreement to Policies
By purchasing a ticket or registering a child for a Baked by Jul kids event, the parent or legal guardian acknowledges that they have read and agree to these Kids Event Policies and confirms that all registration and emergency information provided is accurate.
